This is an original fingerpainting of pain and resilience, that came out of thoughts of despair and overwhelm. In frantic whispers I repeated, “I can’t live… not like this.“ I started this painting with positive and negative feelings. I wrote the positive on top and the negative on the bottom. You can still see a small portion of the bottom writing coming through, while the top had bloomed into flowers. It is a painting very dear to me that signifies a deep desire for profound change.
